The Mackay visitor center had on average 640 visitors per month in 2018, and a total of 1200 visitors in the month of Maywhereasas the Sarina location has already secured bookings worth $8000 approximately in under two weeks.
Residents and business alike, too have also noticed an increase in foot traffic since the center opened. With businesses quoting increase in sales and therefore doubling their orders as a direct result.
