#9 wishing to be 10!

By Tammy Laval

It’s the 5th of March 2016, and Ray White Mackay City is preparing to celebrate nine years of operation from their shop front at 21 Wood Street.

It’s early, & the race is on to get everything in place to surprise the people who have help shaped the business into what it is today – our staff members.

It starts with a dash to our local DIY store to collect an array of helium balloon, to help theme the event.  As well as a surprise set of balloons for our one and only agent – Stacey Arlott, who celebrates her birthday on the same day as the Office.

Stacey Arlott also celebrating a birthday Milestone.

After a quick clean to the store front, setting up of the interview room, in comes one of our beautiful surprise cake from Weegee Dean Cakes, themed especially for the event.

After a number of oohs and arrhs from the office girls, and an unusual amount of photos, we await the arrival of the other team members.

Does this little house remind you of the movie Up!

True to form & typical to any busy office, it isn’t long before we have our clients participating with us as they join-in both the celebration with champers and cake, and assist us with our group photography (as you do in the age of selfless, or in this situation ‘groupies’!!!).

To finalise the event, our specialty printed shirts slogan with, ‘Keep Calm it’s our Birthday Month’, arrives in the nick of time, and another round of ‘groupies’ are taken.

Director, Chris Laval gave a brief speech, citing “Being a proud City Heart Retailer, has had it’s fair share of up’s and down’s through the economic high’s and low’s in the Mackay Region.  But as the old saying goes, if you can survive your 1st year of operation, and then the next 5 years … your right on track.”

“And to my Staff, because of your contributions we have surpassed that milestone.  For that I’d like to thank each of our team members for making each anniversary year a proud moment to savour.”

TShirts that go Kapow!

“Like any 9 year old, we can’t wait to be 10 !  Looking forward to our double digits and being the big kid on the block … or should we say in Mackay City Centre!” he said.

A number of toasts were also hailed to mark Staff Anniversaries within Ray White Mackay City, ranging from 9 years to new starters.

We would like to take the opportunity of congratulating each of our Staff Members for their level of service held with our company, their loyalty and dedication to service for our clientele.
