The Big Short Movie Review

The movie ‘The Big Short’ tackles the 2007 US housing market crash, through the eyes and words of the storyline characters who set-out to profit from it….Doesn’t sound like a great pitch to a movie, however, knowing how the book became a movie does add to the storyline.
Who would be interested in making a movie about credit-default swaps, right? Well it appears comedy can sell most things, enter the plot line on how to understand credit-default swaps … the rest they say is history.

If you haven’t seen Moneyball, staring Brad Pitt, use it as a lead-up to this one.

Also take a quick read of the Vanity Fair write-up from the Author himself, and you like me may be interested in making this the next movie on your ‘Movie hit list’.
